A Cave of Three Chambered Limestone

Sorry for the hiatus fellow adventurers. Things just got rough on my end with so many activities last month.

But now I am back and my furry little feet is ready to hop to another wonderful place here in the island.

Just as promised in the last article, we are going to explore a cave that is located here in Mogpog, Marinduque. A well known cave for all locals, it is considered by the people as one of the wonders of Marinduque.

So are you ready to explore, LET'S GO!!!

Located at Barangay Tarug in Mogpog (it is also where it got it's name), is a three chambered cave made of limestone and is standing for about 700 to 900 feet above the ground. We can get there from our last destination (the town proper of Mogpog) for about 40 mins of travel at 21.4 km.

This cave is another spectacular sight in the island and is well respected by the locales. Although considered as a tourist spot due to it's beauty and wonder, it is still another one of those beautiful places that needs attention from government. It still needs to be developed. But on it's own, it can be considered a beauty with it's pretty amazing limestone formation.

Just a short trip for all of you guys. Thanks for keeping up with me in this adventure.

Next stop, will be a surprise.

Are you ready?
