The Mogpog Town Proper

Okay then, after the refreshing dive, we will now go the the center of all transactions in this Municipality. The Mogpog Town Proper.

The town of Mogpog is the very first town that you will step on if your travel route is from Lucena to Balanacan. This town consists of 37 barangays including the places that we have already visited, namely: Brgy. Balanacan, Brgy. Ino and Brgy. Silangan. And so there are still some other places to explore here before going to other municipalities.

So let us get up from our nice rest and get our furry little feet warmed up. Because we will have a great town to explore.

From the central of Brgy. Balancan, we can ride a tricycle in order to get to the Town Proper of Mogpog for only P15.00 per head. You will be unloaded in the poblacion where you can find different food courts and diners for some quick breakfast or lunch.

Also you can go from place to place within short distance by riding a pedicab or what is called here "sidecar". You can go to nearby places for just P10.00 per ride.

And located at the center, along the highway is the Town Hall of Mogpog. And parallel to that, on the other side of the road is the Mogpog Central School for elementary students and Marinduque Academy for high school students.

In front of the Town Hall is a "Town Plaza". A good place to rest and have a small picnic with your friends and families. And if you want to play a little game of basketball, you are free to play in the Mogpog Covered Court beside the Town Plaza.

After the short trip within the bounds of this town, we will again go out and have another amazing trip. The next destination, it will be a surprise.

But I will give you a little hint. It will be a cave. Located here in the town of Mogpog. Are you ready?
